Technology is intended for surface coating parts by powder plastic coating with after setting of arisen layer in the  baking kiln. It is available to coat small or middle-sized parts, by all kinds of powder paints.

The basic production elements of technology are:

• powdering cabin with filter system (workspace - w.1200 x h.1150 x d.1050)
• electrostatic coating equipment
• automatic electric toughening furnace

Advantages of technology express in ecology sphere – workplace fulfils all hygienic requirements and technologically represents operation with highest level of protection of the environment. Powder paints are an adequate substitute of classic coating compositions in whole range of possibilities for use, but they fulfil higher standards on quality and surface effect and whole design of painted parts. Some of the powder paints types even fulfil hygienic conditions for contact with drinking water and food, including conditions for surface coating of kid toys, public health engineering etc. Indisputable advantage is also wide range of powder paints in shade, fulfilment and use.

Paint powder (plastic) is supplied in wide range from domestic and foreign producers on the market. Palette of colours and tones (RAL) is completed with special powders - transparent, reflex, frosted, impressive, fine-grain and also coarse-grained, drafting, matt, glossy etc. Powder paints are produced in the version epoxy (interior use) and epoxy-polyester (for general use) and polyester (for exterior use) from the view of use. Powders are more or less resistant to mechanical influence, contact with aggressive environs, corrosion etc., from the point of view of mechanical characteristic.
The paint powder is actually homogeneous powder mixtures of epoxy and polyester resins, solid hardeners, fillers, additives and pigments.

Preliminary treatment of parts before powder coating is important condition to reach good quality of surface layer. The parts have to be free of corrosion marks, old paint coats, flakes, sawdust and grease. That’s why it is necessary to produce these parts from quality materials, observe provided conditions for their manipulation. Quality technologic process of grease removal ensures high quality of surface coating. If the parts require it, from the quality surface aspect, it is necessary to clean them mechanically before the process of grease removal - by shot blasting, sand blasting, abrasion, brushing, foam wiping and by compressed air blasting.

Paint powder coating is carried either in piece, or in series preparations. Trolleys with powdered parts are load either with single part or with series of parts in preparations as well, before taking to furnace the kiln room. Of course, if it is possible and it pays off to realize the order by preparations, labour productivity and production volume in the time cycle increase, overspray decreases (powder, which doesn’t stick to the painted part, but is caught in filter system). It has positive influence on the price of surface coating.

The price of surface coating is applied either in hour overhead rate 270,- CZK/hour + material, or if it is possible, the price per piece is set up on the basis of test series.
