REACH registration

Full registration, i.e., a dossier for aluminium oxide (Al2O3), Submission Report - PR986402-08, Registration number: 01-211952924835-0118.

Our joint-stock company, KVS EKODIVIZE a. s., has successfully fulfilled all the requirements arising from the REACH Regulation, the first wave of which was concluded on 30/11/2010. As of 30 November 2010, the first deadline for the registration of chemical substances under Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council EC No. 1907/2006 (REACH) passed. That day was the first binding date for the registration of substances produced or imported in a quantity exceeding 1,000 tonnes/year. KVS EKODIVIZE a. s. has fulfilled all the requirements arising from the first wave of registrations and, within appropriate consortia, successfully registered aluminium oxide (Al2O3 – Registration number: 01-211952924835-0118), which it produces in a quantity exceeding 1,000 tonnes/year. Aluminium oxide is the starting raw material for ALCATEN and RECAL products. Full registration, i.e., a dossier meeting the information requirements under Annex X to the REACH Regulation, was submitted for this substance (including a chemical safety report). We will send more detailed information, including new safety data sheets and registration numbers, to all of our customers in the very near future.
