5. Possibilities of application:
It is possible to apply RECAL to deactivate furnace, eventually refining slag during the production of steel, or more precisely during its extra-furnace processing.
It serves for decreasing of oxidizing potential of steel slag, or steel bath.
Recommended dosing depends on FeO content in slag, eventually on content of active oxygen in steel.
Metal aluminium efficiency in RECALu is fully comparable with common use aluminium for desoxidation.
Co-attendant Al2O3 has positive influence on treatment and composition of especially calcium–aluminium refining slag.
Thereby conditions for flow-ability of refining slag and conditions for desulphurisation are improved.

7. Physical properties:
RECAL is produced in form of cylindrical and oval shaped briquettes and tablets by reason of minimalization of dust nuisance during its application and also easy manipulation during the dosing.
