INQUIRY – research of potential raw materials resources on based on Al2O3

Our company deals with waste disposal and subsequently reprocessing of Al2O3 and Al(OH)3 based hazardous waste - this is mainly Al-dross from aluminium iron-mills. We reprocess this waste into additives for ferrous metallurgy in our technology with yearly capacity 6000 tons. We search potential resources of other raw materials to enlarge our production, that’s why we inquire:

  1. Industrial catalyzers on the Al2O3 carrier for hydrometallurgical recycling (Mo, Co, Ni based)
  2. Catalyst carrier - alumina - after annealing and hydrometallurgical separation of metals
  3. Acid Al2O3 from petrochemical industry, after annealing
  4. Al2O3 based slag from ferroalloy production – this is mainly aluminium material, corundum type, MgAl2O4, CaAl11O17, spinels ... et al.

It is possible to reprocess these waste materials by our technology without organic parts (after annealing), the best in the powder form (100% under 0,4 mm, c. 90% under 0,3 mm), however the other grain sizing is possible.

Required chemical composition:

Al2O3, Al(OH)3 min 85%
Fe, Co, Ni, Mo max 5%
Si max 2%
S, P, As, Se max 0,001%
Pb + heavy metals max 0,002%
Soluble max 1%

In case, you have the waste of this type, which do not meet required parameters, it is possible to individually discuss also about reprocessing of these materials (the reprocessing is e.g. possible after dilution by other waste, whose parameters do not reach limits).

We are ready to discuss about co-operation in this branch in monthly capacity c. 500 up to the target 1500 tons.
